Andrew Bolen, M.ed, is the 4th-8th Grade Principal at Wallace Stegner Academy, and he is one of the founding teachers of the school. Prior to working at WSA, Mr. Bolen taught 7th and 8th grade Social Studies and 9th grade Geography for one year and 5th grade for three years in West Valley City, Utah. Mr. Bolen received a Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University in Middle East Studies and Arabic with a double major in History. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree, Mr. Bolen continued his education and obtained a professional teaching license in the state of Utah. While Mr. Bolen has taught many subjects and grade levels, his passion is to teach reading and writing about literature. Mr. Bolen lives with his wife, who is also an educator, in the Rose Park area. Mr. Bolen enjoys traveling abroad, and has already visited many far reaching countries. He enjoys a nice cup of coffee, good conversation, and reading fantasy novels.
