Anna Cooksey


Anna Cooksey, M.S. joined the Wallace Stegner Academy team as a first grade teacher in 2017.  Prior to moving to Salt Lake City with her husband, Mrs. Cooksey taught Kindergarten and First Grade in Kansas City, Missouri for four years.  Before that, she spent a year teaching preschool in Wisconsin.  Mrs. Cooksey received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU. She holds a professional teaching license in the state of Utah and is a Highly Qualified teacher.  Mrs. Cooksey has a passion for forming strong, positive relationships with her students and hopes to instill a love of learning in each and every one.  In her free time, Mrs. Cooksey loves to travel, read, and spend time with her family and friends.
