David Snee, M.E. came aboard at Wallace Stegner Academy in 2018 as an eighth grade teacher. Previously, he had been living and working all over Utah for 12 years as a guide on multi-day mountain biking and rafting expeditions, and a ski technician. David recognized that he was passionate about the educational aspects of his first career choice, which led him to the pursuit of a master’s of education degree. He earned that degree from GCU in 2017, after spending 15 weeks as a student teacher at Canyonview Elementary in Cottonwood Heights, UT. David also holds a B.S. in Parks, Recreation, and Ecotourism from Unity College in Central Maine (2005). He is currently certified to teach in both Utah and Arizona. David’s goal as an educator is to inspire a love of learning and curiosity in all of his students. In his free time, he is outdoors as much as possible with family and friends.
