Kelly Evans joined the staff at Wallace Stegner Academy in 2021 and is excited to begin her fifth year of teaching.  Kelly graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and spent the first four years of her career teaching 3rd and 4th grade at a charter school in North Carolina. Kelly has lived all over the United States, including Florida, Washington D.C., New Mexico, and Colorado.  As a child, Kelly lived in Park City, Utah where she developed her love of the mountains and outdoors.  Kelly is an avid hiker, climber, skier, and SCUBA diver.  She has been fortunate to SCUBA dive all over the world in destinations such as Palau, Cuba, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Kelly hopes to bring her knowledge of the globe and love of the outdoors into the classroom to stimulate interest in adventure, as well as develop a curiosity about the world and everything it has to offer.
