Mindy Averett, Kindergarten Teacher at Wallace Stegner Academy since January 2017.  Mrs. Averett has been teaching for seven years.  Before coming to us she taught both Kindergarten and First Grade at Promontory School of Expeditionary Learning in Brigham City, and American Preparatory Academy in Salem.  She graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Averett loves teaching and watching young students learn new things. She has eight children of her own and resides in the Layton area.
