Student Leadership
Expectations:
1. Role Model Behavior
House leaders must consistently live the values of the house (e.g. respect, responsibility, kindness). Younger students should see them making good choices, handling mistakes gracefully, and showing positive attitudes.
2. Leadership & Initiative
They should step forward without being told: propose ideas, lead during house meetings, help organize events, troubleshoot issues, and mobilize their peers. Being proactive is key. 
3. Communication & Collaboration
They need to communicate clearly — to their house members, teachers, and staff — and collaborate with others (peer leaders, staff) to plan and carry out house activities. Also, listen to classmates’ ideas and concerns. 
4. Responsibility & Reliability
When they commit to a duty (running a meeting, organizing a game, collecting points), people can count on them to follow through. That includes being punctual, prepared, and consistent. 
5. Encouragement & Inclusion
They should actively include others, especially students who may feel less confident or are new, and encourage participation, recognizing effort and kindness. They help build a positive house culture (not just focus on competition).
Application Process:
Each school and house has their own process to elect their house leaders.
